MEET THE CITY OF OCEANSIDE

As part of the Oceanside Chamber's objective to maintain open dialogue with our governmental leaders, the Chamber's "Meet the City of Oceanside Reception" is a favorite among Chamber members and the local business community, and is heavily attended by community leaders, elected officials, City staff members,  and businesses leaders. ARMED FORCES DAY: OPERATION APPRECIATION

Each year on Armed Forces Day, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce brings the business community and area residents together to provide a day of recognition to the Marines and Sailors based on Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base and other nearby military bases at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater. Approximately 5,000 active military personnel and military dependents are treated and welcomed to a day of food and entertainment, including a kid's fun zone for children, with music for adults.

Operation Appreciation made possible by our generous event sponsors. COAStal business expo

The Coastal Business Expo will be held on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the William A Wagner Aquatic Center, 3306 Senior Center Drive, in Oceanside (adjacent to the El Corazon Senior Center).

NORTH COUNTY HEALTH + WELLNESS FAIR

The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce hosts the Annual Health & Wellness Fair presented by Tri-City Medical Center. The North County Health Fair is free to the public and a great way to gather valuable healthcare information, meet a new health specialist or learn more about healthy living.  Located at the beautiful Oceanside Civic Center Plaza, the North County Health Fair  runs concurrently with the popular Downtown Farmer's Market.

HEROES OF CAMP PENDLETON & OCEANSIDE

The Heroes of Oceanside and Camp Pendleton Dinner serves to recognize representatives from Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Oceanside Police Department, Oceanside Fire Department, Oceanside Lifeguards, Healthcare Workers and Educators from the local school district for their outstanding contributions to the well-being and advancement of our City.​ The event also features awards recognizing the work of our business community.

OCEANSIDE SENIOR SHOWCASE

Each year on the second Thursday in November the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce hosts the Oceanside Senior Expo. This popular event will feature health-related businesses, non-profits and senior organizations. In addition, exhibitors have an opportunity to offer variety of free health-related screenings and demonstrations for the public. The event is free to the public. Table top spaces are available for businesses interested in promoting their products or services. RISING STAR STUDENT PROGRAM

The Chamber's Rising Star Student of the Month Program, launched in 2021, aims to champion students that have overcome significant challenges in their lives while managing to keep on track with their education.  During the 2023-24 school year, the Chamber honored a total of 29 students at its monthly Rising Star breakfast events. These amazing students were each given the opportunity to share their stories of resilience and persistence.
All Students who are recognized as Rising Stars are invited to apply for the Rising Star Scholarship through the Oceanside Chamber Foundation.
Scholarship funds for the 2023-24 school year were made available by generous contributions from Genentech, Frontwave Foundation, California State University San Marcos, PEO and Sizzler. In the first three years of the program, a total of 51 students have received more than $94,000 in scholarships. 
Rising Star events are open to the public. Tickets are $25 for Chamber members and $40 for non-members. A continental breakfast will be provided to all guests.  All donations to the Rising Star scholarship fund are tax deductible through the Oceanside Chamber Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation. Contact Scott Ashton at 760-722-1534 ext 107 or email to learn about opportunities for sponsoring this event or contributing to the scholarship fund. ​​
