The Oceanside Chamber was lucky enough on May 16th to attend the Ribbon Cutting for the local sandwich stop Port of Subs. Also at the ceremony were several Oceanside Chamber Ambassadors, Miss Teen Oceanside and her Court, and a representative from Rocky Chavez’s office to congratulate the Port of Subs team. Rita's of Oceanside Joins the Mix!

The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of celebrating a ribbon cutting for Rita’s Ice last week. In attendance were the friendly staff of Rita’s and several chamber ambassadors. The popular frozen treats restaurant has been opening up locations all over North County and is now a part of the Oceanside community. Rita’s Ice is well known for their smooth and fresh Italian Ice that you can pair with their different flavors of custard. The flavors change daily so next time they have your favorite stop on by. Ribbon Cutting for Stratford at the Harbor

The Oceanside Chamber had the privilege last week to attend the Ribbon Cutting for the new restaurant at the Oceanside Harbor Stratford at the Harbor. Also at the ceremony were several Oceanside Chamber Ambassadors and a representative from Rocky Chavez’s office to congratulate Stratford at the Harbors team. Stratford at the Harbor is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and specializes in home-style cooking. For a great meal in a warm comfortable setting with a fantastic view, head over to 280 S. Surfside Tap Room Ribbon Cutting

The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting for Surfside Tap Room in Oceanside last week. Surfside Tap Room has a large selection of craft beers on tap, in bottles and cans. Guests are bound to find something that will keep them coming back again and again! Minors are welcome - they even serve fresh brewed Root Beer!

The Honor Bowl Comes to Oceanside!

The Honor Bowl is happening in Oceanside this weekend! The Honor Group brings the community together with high school students, teacher and parents to listen to compelling stories of bravery. THG saw an opportunity to help raise awareness of our military through two honor school assemblies and hope we will be able to bring these special moments to additional schools.

The 2014 U-T San Diego Honor Bowl will be held at Oceanside High School in Oceanside, CA on September 5-6. This page will help with information abut this event. As our motto states: “It’s more than just a football game!”
